As the only national class A marathon held in the midsummer of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, the 7th Kangbao Grassland Marathon of Kangbanol Cup 2023 is an important node for Zhangjiakou City to accelerate the construction of the Beijing-Zhangjia sports and cultural tourism belt, and it is also one of the brand events held to create an important destination of "so close, so beautiful, and go to Hebei on weekends". Since the start of registration in June this year, this tournament has received positive response and enthusiastic participation from the majority of runners at home and abroad. A total of 2,000 marathon enthusiasts were qualified to participate in this competition. Participants came from 28 provinces in China and some foreign nationals. In the mini-marathon, some county leaders in kangbao county enthusiastically led the way. On the basis of fully absorbing the experience of the previous six events, this year’s competition has been upgraded and adjusted in an all-round way. In terms of the route of the competition, the whole track is 42.195 kilometers of asphalt road, with a base elevation of 1,500 meters and a cumulative climb of 430 meters. In addition to the urban section, a lakeside section and a "grassland gold track" composed of blue sky, green grass, flowers and windmills have been designed. At the same time, 15 refueling tracks have been set up along the track. A variety of programs were arranged, and volunteers were arranged to cheer for the athletes. During the running competition, the athletes can enjoy the ecological beauty along the way and appreciate the colorful regional culture of Kangbao.
