On the eve of the 120th anniversary of Beijing Normal University, China Central Radio and Television General Station and Beijing Normal University signed a comprehensive strategic partnership framework agreement on April 15th. Vice Minister Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China, Director and Editor-in-Chief of CCTV, Shen Haixiong, and Party Secretary of Beijing Normal University, Cheng Jianping, attended the signing ceremony and jointly unveiled the CCTV-Beijing Normal University Media Communication System Engineering Research Institute. Xue Jijun, member of the editorial board of the Central Radio and Television General Station, and Zhou Zuoyu, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Beijing Normal University, signed the contract on behalf of both parties.
Jiang Wenbo, a member of the editorial board of the General Station, pointed out in his speech that the Central Radio and Television General Station is guided by the spirit of a series of important instructions given by the Supreme Leader General Secretary to the General Station, continuously promoting the deep integration of media, vigorously implementing the all-media communication project, and constantly strengthening the world-class new mainstream media. Beijing Normal University, with a history of over a hundred years and a large number of masters, has delivered a large number of outstanding talents to the reception desk for many years. The establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between the Headquarters and Beijing Normal University to jointly carry out the research and practice of media communication system engineering is a concrete practice to implement the important instructions of the General Secretary on "accelerating the construction of an important talent center and an innovative highland in the world". Jiang Wenbo said that using the theory of system science to study the law of media communication and guide the all-media construction of the main station is also an important research content of the State Key Laboratory of Ultra-high-definition video and audio production and broadcasting of the main station. It is believed that the cooperation between the two sides will surely achieve fruitful results in promoting the development of media integration, exploring the combination of higher education and Industry-University-Research, and carrying out systematic and innovative application research of all media.

Technological revolution, cultural competition, media communication and public opinion have become the core areas of concern in the strategy of strengthening the country. Media communication has become a comprehensive, interdisciplinary and multi-disciplinary complex system engineering with social and political attributes. It is timely to jointly build a media communication system engineering research institute and other cooperation. We will jointly promote collaborative innovation, help the high-quality development of the Central Radio and Television General Station and the "double-class" construction of Beijing Normal University, and greet the party’s 20 th victory with practical actions.
